Arrive
The rider locates the nearest station in the Swap Energy app and rides to it.
A depleted pack becomes a full one in under two minutes at any Swap Energy station in Dubai. No cable, no appointment, no waiting for a bay to free up.

A battery swapping station is a cabinet of charged, monitored battery packs that lets an electric motorcycle rider exchange a depleted battery for a full one in minutes, instead of charging. Swap Energy operates 15-bin smart swapping stations across Dubai, exclusively for EG1 and ADV motorcycles, with a swap completing in under two minutes.
A Swap Energy station holds 15 packs. More bins means more riders served per station and a shorter queue at shift-change peaks, which is when delivery fleets actually need the capacity.
Swap Energy operates swapping stations across Dubai, sited around delivery corridors, logistics zones, and rider accommodation. Live locations and bin availability are in the Swap Energy app. Network expansion across the UAE is ongoing.
Swapping replaces the pack; charging refills it. That single difference changes rider downtime, battery capex, depot space and the ceiling on fleet size.

The app opens an available bin.
It goes into the open bin and begins charging under station management.
The station releases a fully charged, health-checked battery.
Total time: under two minutes.
Swap Energy stations work exclusively with Swap Energy battery packs. That's deliberate. A single certified pack specification means every battery in the network has a known cell chemistry, a known charge profile, and a known service history, so the station can guarantee thermal behaviour and state of health on every swap. Multi-brand networks can't make that guarantee.
Every Swap Energy bin runs six independent protections. Fire suppression and smoke detection act at bin level, temperature sensors and active cooling manage heat, and water-immersion detection plus surge protection isolate electrical faults automatically.
In every slot, triggering automatically on ignition.
Alerts the cloud system and cuts main power.
With high-temperature alerting.
Engages above the set thermal limit.
Cuts power to the affected bin.
Against current and voltage spikes.
Under BaaS, the batteries stay ours. You pay for swap access rather than buying packs, which removes battery capex, spare inventory, and the replacement cycle from your budget. Private on-site stations are available for fleets running enough volume to justify one.

Under two minutes, start to finish. Charging the same pack from empty takes several hours.
Swap Energy operates swapping stations across Dubai, positioned near delivery corridors, logistics zones, and rider accommodation. The Swap Energy app shows live locations and how many charged packs each station currently holds.
No. Under Battery-as-a-Service you pay for access to the swap network and the packs remain Swap Energy's, which removes both the upfront battery cost and the eventual replacement cost.
No. Swap Energy stations are certified for Swap Energy battery packs only. Restricting the network to one pack specification is what lets us guarantee thermal behaviour, charge profile, and state of health on every swap.
Yes. Every pack is health-checked between swaps, and each station bin has independent aerosol fire suppression, smoke detection, temperature monitoring, active cooling, water-immersion cutoff, and surge protection.
Station hours are set by site, and the network is built to support delivery fleets operating outside standard business hours. Current hours for each location are shown in the app.
Yes. Swap Energy installs private stations for fleets running enough daily volume to justify dedicated capacity. Contact us with your rider count and duty cycle for an assessment.
Fast charging still takes tens of minutes and degrades cells faster over time. A swap takes under two minutes, and because packs are cycled and monitored centrally, individual riders never carry the cost of a worn battery.
